PARROTIA persica 'Bella'

Persian Ironwood Deciduous tree with large beech-like leaves, dark red or purple tinted when young. Dark red autumn colour. Dark red tufts of flower in spring. More upright in habit than the Parrotia persica, ideal as a specimen in a large grassed area. Height after 10 years up to 10 metres. A new variety with fantastic autumn colour and upright growth. The leaves are deeply serrated and deep purple in colour when young aging to a deep green in colour and take on a slight twist. Height 8m
