Short description

Handmade in a small workshop in Italy with techniques passed down through generations using locally sourced clay mixed with porous rock (tuff) giving the right balance between colour and porosity producing the warm tones and distinctive red terracotta colour. Each pot is entirely handmade taking around 2 to 3 weeks for each pot to be completed. Fired up to 1000OC and frost tested to minus 23OC. Our range of options, shapes and colours give a great mix of traditional and modern styles. **Due to natural clay and handmade techniques, variations in colour may occur. We think that is part of their handmade charm. **Always add Hydroleca to aid drainage and lift contact with the floor in the winter months.

You can visit our nursery in Swanley, Kent, from Monday to Saturday. Provender Nurseries is a wholesale trade only outlet - simply come in, select what you want, pay and go!
