Course Overview

This comprehensive course is designed for Garden Designers looking to enhance their workflow through the seamless integration of three powerful iPad-based design platforms: Procreate, Morpholio Trace, and SketchUp for iPad. Through practical demonstrations, participants will learn how to use these tools to streamline their design processes and expand their creative and expressive capabilities. The course will also briefly cover the application of AI in garden design graphics.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the functionalities of Procreate, Morpholio Trace, and SketchUp for iPad.
  • Learn to create fluid, frictionless workflows using these platforms.
  • Gain skills in photomontage, photo editing, freehand sketching, and watercolouring with Procreate.
  • Explore the architectural drawing capabilities of Morpholio Trace.
  • Gain insight into the 3D CAD design potential of SketchUp along with its precision technical drawing capabilities and near photorealistic visualisation functionality.
  • Incorporate AI tools into garden design graphics, with a brief foray into Midjourney and Stable Diffusion AI.
