Acer pseudoplatanus 'Brilliantissimum'
Description: Forms a small tree with a compact head, noted in spring for spectacular colouring of rich peachy or shrimp pink as the leaves open. The leaves then fade to light green throughout the summer. Very ornamental, slow growing and ideal for the smaller garden situation or as a street tree. Pollution tolerant and also suitable for coastal planting.
Climate/Position: Full sun or partial shade
Height/Spread: 6 metres x 8 metres spread
Soil Requirements: Any rich moist well drained soil.
Pruning: Rarely required but size can be controlled if needed.
