Agapanthus 'Buckingham Palace'
Description: A tall variety noted as being one of the latest to flower in September so extending the season of interest. Deep blue globular flowers.
Uses: Good at the back of the border as it is a taller variety. As a tall variety then a sheltered site is best to ensure the stems are not blown over
Climate / Position: Full sun.
Height / Spread: Mature height 1.5 metres flower stems.
Soil Requirements: Fertile, moist but well drained soil. Water well when first planted – but drought tolerant once established.
Pruning: Remove dead flower stems after flowering.
Special Requirements: All Agapanthus prefer not to be disturbed when they have been planted.
