Cedrus deodara 'Blue Triumph'
Description: The deodar cedars are noted for their graceful habit and dropping tips to the branches. This blue form is an improvement on Cedrus deodara, with a more regular foliage than the standard variety. The needles, which are longer, are particularly deep-blue in colour and will make a magnificent specimen especially in a lawn situation.
Climate/Position: Sunny location prefered. Protection from wind will reduce the risk of wind damage.
Height/Spread: Up to 30 metres with 10 metre spread
Soil Requirements: Any free draining soil
Pruning: Avoid pruning to ensure shape is maintained
Special Requirements: Ensure there is sufficient space when planted to allow the plant to reach a specimen for the best result as will then make a beautiful specimen.
