Clerodendrum bungei

Description: An semi woody suckering shrub with large dark green heart shaped leaves up to 20cm long. Large clusters of rosy pink and red heavily fragrant flowers are produced in the late summer to early autumn.

Climate / Position: Prefers a site in full sun.

Height / Spread: 3 x 3 metres

Soil Requirements: Prefers a humus rich, moist but well drained soil.

Pruning : Can be thinned out in the spring and the heart shaped leaves will be bigger and quite showy and architectural if stems are pruned.
