Cornus florida 'Daybreak'
Description: A small tree or large shrub which has a branching habit and develops to a tiered specimen. This variety has variegated leaves with creamy-white margins which also provide excellent deep purple autumn colour.
Its flowers in April are infact pure white coloured bracts with green flower centres.
Climate/Position: Sun to partial shade. Avoid exposed areas which may scorch the variegated leaves.
Height/Spread: 5 x 3 metres
Soil Requirements: Any free draining soil. Avoid shallow chalky soils.
Pruning: No pruning required apart from any early shaping.
