Iris ensata ‘Loyalty’
Description: Stunning double violet flowers with a vivid yellow throat, flowering from June to July. Broad upright foliage adds to the drama of these dark sensuous flowers.
Uses: Unlike the rhizome Iris, the Japanese Iris require a moisture retentive soil and looks great planted on stream borders or other waterside areas.
Climate / Position: Full sun or partial shade.
Height / Spread: Height 90cm. Spread 60cm.
Soil Requirements: Happy in a moisture retentive acidic soil.
Pruning:Tidy leaves in autumn or before new growth in the spring.
