Juniperus scopulorum 'Wichita Blue'
Description: Blue grey conical conifer which is slower growing than the species "Wichita Blue’ is a compact, conical, male form of Juniper with a shapely habit and noted for its blue or blue-gray foliage that retains good color all year.
Makes an excellent choice for screens, hedges, background planting, or lawn specimen especially in dry conditions and exhibits excellent cold tolerance.
Climate/Position: Does best in full sun
Height/Spread: 4 metres x 2 metres
Soil Requirements: Adapts to a wide range of soils, best when well drained. Tolerant of dry conditions.

Special Requirements:
Specific epithet 'scopulorum' comes from the Latin word meaning “of cliffs or rocks” in reference to the mountainous habit of the tree.
