Leucanthemum x superbum 'Broadway Lights'
Description: A new and highly improved form of the popular herbaceous perennial known as Shasta Daisy. A profusion of daisy like flowers from June to September which open canary yellow, then fade to soft lemon and eventually cream and white when mature. Fabulous when all colours are seen at the same time.
Climate/Position: Full sun or light shade.
Height/Spread: Compact form 60cm only, clump forming.
Soil Requirements: Any soil. Leucanthemum are very sensitive so avoid very dry situations and also wet positions or high salinity soils.
Pruning: Cut back to ground level after flowering. Often there may be a second flush of flowers before the winter.
Special Requirements:
Considered to be a hybrid between L. maximum and L. lacustre. A new cultivar which stands out from the competition.
Plant Breeders Rights apply as 'Leumayel'.
