Pinus nigra 'Bambino'
Description: Very dwarf conifer which is slower growing than other pines. Has a tight and rounded habit making a flattened-globose shape. Dark green needles are more short and thin than the type.
Ideal for the smaller gardens as well as in containers on balconies and patios and smaller spaces in any garden.
Climate/Position: Prefers full sun
Height/Spread: Will reach only 50 cm x 60cm when mature. Hardy
Soil Requirements: Well-drained soil, very resistant to drought
Pruning: Maintains its spherical form with no trimming.

Selected by the breeder, Henri Bregeon, in Switzerland originated from a cross with Pinus nigra.
