Pinus sylvestris 'Gold Medal'

Description:

A small conical form of golden pine which can be used in large rockeries or in any mixed border and will stand out well against dark green foliaged plants. This is a slow growing 2 needled pine with evergreen needles of rich gold which are at their best in winter when the colour is richest.

Climate/Position: Full sun

Height/Spread: Slow growing dwarf variety eventually reaching 2 metres x 1 metre spread

Soil Requirements: Any soils, poor free draining soils are ideal. Tolerant of salt sprays

Pruning: None required

Plant golden leaved plants near to dark green foliaged plants for additional impact.
