Sophora 'Sun King'
Description: A touch of the exotic and unusual. An evergreen small tree or large shrub with dark green, glossy, fern-like foliage. Dainty, pendulous panicles of bright-yellow bell-shaped flowers with prominent anthers in late-winter and early-spring which are followed by long lasting clusters of seed pods.
Suitable for mixed borders, in containers and can be trained against a wall.
Climate / Position: Full sun in a sheltered site.
Height / Spread: Height 2.5m. Spread 2.5m.
Soil Requirements: Tolerant of most soils, except heavily waterlogged.
Pruning : Remove wayward shoots in late winter.
