Cercis chinensis 'Diane' is popping out in flower as the daylight lengthens and the days get warmer. We love watching these little buds pop open to reveal the deep purple-pink pea-like flowers on the bare stems. Heart-shaped, dark green leaves, red-purple when they unfurl and turning yellow in autumn. Bred in Kent.
