In October 2024, Richard McKenna, Managing Director of Provender Nurseries and committee member of IPPS Europe for 15 years received the prestigious Rose Bowl Award for special contribution to promoting the interest of IPPS in plant propagation, production and ornamental horticulture.
The Rose Bowl Award now in its 50th year, was awarded to Richard at the IPPS Europe Conference 2024, Growing a Greener Future, organised by Clare King, Production Supervisor at Provender Nurseries and now president of IPPS Europe.
Both are active members of IPPS bringing and exchanging knowledge to Provender Nurseries production site with other IPPS members.
Richard McKenna says ’Receiving the Rose Bowl Award is a great honour. To have my name on the Rose Bowl alongside some phenomenal names and characters is really something I will treasure.’
