A delightful small tree with deeply cut deep reddish-purple foliage. The leaves emerge red – pink in the autumn and become bright red in the autumn. Small red flowers in spring followed by winged fruits. Acer palmatum ‘Pixie’ has an upright compact habit. Prefers a sheltered site in sun or partial shade. Height to 2.5 metres.
