A totally neat, simple looking and compact shrub that is a brilliant alternative to Buxus for low hedging, lovely Lonicera nitida Scoop.
The dainty evergreen foliage is as tight as it comes with very dense growth that grows naturally into a rounded mound shape and needs little pruning. The tips are a fabulous red colour to them when in growth.
Lonicera nitida Scoop is perfect for low hedges, in pots and for the edging of paths as it can be trimmed back so well.
Like all Lonicera, a sunny to semi-shaded spot and in any soil other than waterlogged will result in a happy, healthy plant.
