Olives

We are often asked how old Olive trees are.  Larger mature Olives with characteristic gnarled old bark can be up to 100 years old or even older.  Smaller Olives are ideal choices for planting in decorative containers for formal planting and more relaxed informal styles. 

Plant in well-draining compost and out of exposed conditions.  Use Provender Lightweight soil mix when planting in containers, the ideal mix for Mediterranean plants.
