Three of my favourite things in one! A summer sizzler with delicate, fern-like, deep purple pinnate leaves that emerge green in the spring before changing to deep purple. In late summer, dense clusters of small fluffy pink – cream exotic looking flowers with long stamens are freely produced which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. In the autumn long flat seedpods follow and are often held through the winter months.
