Glossy evergreen foliage that emerges a bright red before changing to green in the summer months. Occasionally, there may be a second flush of red foliage in autumn. White flowers appear in spring, glowing against the red foliage.
Trained to frames to provide flat foliar planes, pleached Photinia provide privacy and screening above fence level. Prune regularly to encourage more growth and foliage cover. If you want evergreen screening, it has to be a Photinia Red Robin.
Full sun/partial shade. Moist but well-drained soil.
