Back in 2010 Provender Nurseries sponsored, supplied and built a garden at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show called Go Wild in The City. The ethos behind the garden was to increase biodiversity in an urban garden. The planting was selected with wildlife in mind as well as to provide a peaceful garden to relax in. The garden demonstrated that wildlife gardens can be striking and rewarding spaces. The planting ranged from small trees to shrubs, herbaceous and aquatic plants all aimed at attracting a diverse range of wildlife to an urban garden.
As you can see from the images below we think the garden looked aesthetic and fulfilled the purpose of providing habitats and attracting wildlife. We also won a Silver Gilt Medal too!
