Multi-stemmed Betula nigra shown in two different types of lighting. Hand selected by our plant purchaser in the autumn. Potted up from a root ball in peat-free compost. Root balls have thicker stems and better structure. Trees with ornamental bark really come to the forefront when underplanted with spring flowering bulbs or shrubs that also have ornamental stem colour.
