Tetrapanax papyrifer, commonly known as Chinese rice-paper is a hardy, fast-growing large shrub or small tree.
Recognised for its impressive, slightly felted, palmate leaves that can reach up to 60 cm in width. During the flowering season, from October to December, the plant produces small cream or white flower heads, adding to its appeal.
Growing conditions: Full sun. Well-drained soil.
