We have some smashing variegated shrub options looking resplendent at the moment. Summer is their time to shine.
Azara microphylla 'Variegata'. The evergreen, glossy gold to cream edged variegated leaves are at their best in the summer months. In spring and sometimes again in winter, small yellow flowers are freely produced. A great choice as a small tree / large shrub reaching 4-8m height and 2.5-4m spread in time.
Luma apiculata 'Glanleam Gold' is busy flowering it’s socks off at the moment. The scent will tell you where to find them! Creamy-yellow edged leaves act as the perfect foil to the clusters of white flowers produced in abundance in the summer months. The evergreen leaves can take on a delightful pink tinge in the colder months. A slow growing plant and well worth the time it takes to grow, Luma reaches 2.5m to 4m in height and spread.
