We are over the moon and extremely proud of James.
James began his career in horticulture by working as part of a garden maintenance team, after gaining enough experience, he launched his own business in the same field. Over time, James shifted to creating large planting plans, which ignited his passion for plants. Unfortunately, due to an injury, James was no longer able to run his own business. He instead transitioned into a sales role with us at Provender Nurseries. Prior to working in horticulture, James worked in various sales positions. Combining both sides of his work experience and his passion for plants - the role at Provender Nurseries is the perfect match.
James says, "I was overjoyed when I first found out I was a winner for 30 under 30, The Next Generation 2024. There are some great horticulturists from the past winners and now I feel privileged to be amongst them. It’s a great accolade and to be part of a talented crowd. It’s a joy to be rewarded for doing a job I love in an industry I love!"
