Parrotia persica, often referred to as 'Persian Ironwood', is an exceptional tree for all seasons. The autumn foliage is yellow, red and purple. It has attractive flaking bark in winter along with Hamamelis-like flowers appearing in winter through to spring on bare stems.
Ideal for both structured and low-maintenance planting projects..
Wide-spreading. Very hardy. Deciduous. Full sun / partial shade.
