Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis'

Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis'

This winter-flowering cherry won the Award of Merit in 1930. Almost 100 years later, it still remains a top choice in the UK. Why? It has a number of great selling factors, a few of them being: it flowers in the spring and winter, it is bee friendly making it great for wildlife and it works really well in parks and streets. As this is a small, rounded tree it is also perfect for those smaller gardens.

Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis' thrives in full sun and moist but well-drained soil.
