Popular with Piet Oudolf and once seen it easy to see the appeal of this tactile grass. Schizachyrium scop. Ha Ha Tonka is covered in masses of tiny hairs making it soft to the touch. The leaves are generally blue-green with some coloured grey, green and red. This tactile tantiliser mixes well when planted with Gaura and Kanutia. This lovely grass comes into its own in the autumn months – right about now! And reaches 1.25m in height.
