Provender Nurseries invite APL members to an evening covering aspects of importing plants, biosecurity and how new legislation will affect APL members in the year ahead.
On the evening we will have a representative from APHA, a plant show and tell of commonly used plants that have regulated pests and diseases linked to them and a tour of the new facilities on site at Provender Nurseries including biosecurity isolation pods and plant production area.
This is an ideal opportunity to put any questions you may have to an APHA representative and also discover what a wholesale plant supply nursery to the trade does to ensure that biosecurity procedures are upheld.
Stuart Tickner, Nursery Production & Biosecurity Manager of Provender Nurseries will also be on hand to discuss any questions you may have. Richard McKenna, Managing Director of Provender Nurseries will conduct a tour showing some of the crops that are now being grown at Provender Nurseries as a result of biosecurity procedures now in place.
