Diane is NEW to the market and we have some of the first plants to be offered to the UK market.
What makes Diane stand out from the crowd? With clusters of deep purple – pink flowers on bare stems in the spring, Diane is darker in colour than other Cercis and has more of a wow factor. Foliage interest is provided from spring through to autumn with the leaves emerging purple in colour in spring, becoming large, green and glossy over the season before turning vibrant yellow in the autumn.
Diane is named after the wife of renowned plant breeder Chris Lane, the holder of plant collections including Hamamelis, Wisteria, Prunus, Parrotia and Amelanchier.
