As the days get longer, the buds of Camellia japonica start to open up and each day brings the flower a little nearer. Camellia japonica is an ever-popular plant due to the late winter/early spring colour and has flowers from white to yellow, pink to red, single to double – truly spectacular. Perfectly suited for growing in the ground and in containers, remember to use Ericaceous compost and feed after flowering with ericaceous feed.
