Prunus cerasifera ‘Nigra’. A stunning tree choice and one of the first to flower in the spring. The single soft pale pink flowers emerge in March from deep pink buds before the dark brown- purple foliage held on purple stems. The attractive dark purple foliage holds its colour throughout the season. Fantastic red- purple autumn foliage. A popular choice for street planting and smaller gardens. Prunus cerasifera Nigra forms a round headed tree between 6 to 10m in height.
