Myrtus communis Variegata

Myrtus communis Variegata

The starry, slightly fluffy flowers are freely produced from June to August emerging from tight round buds that are decorative enough in themselves.  In the autumn purple-black berries are held against the foliage.

The foliage, flower, scent and berries ensure that this Myrtus deserves a place in many a design.

Reaching a height and spread of 2m it can be easily incorporated into many a planting plan and is a useful choice for a coastal location too.  It requires full sun in a well-drained soil in any soil.

No need to prune into shape.  Sit back, sniff and enjoy.

We currently have 2 sizes in stock:

8L at 40-60cm

55L at 1m tall (although they are taller in the flesh)
