Exotic holiday feel in Kent

Canna.  Huge exotic paddle-shaped leaves with bright flowers held on upright spikes

Cycas revoluta.  Evergreen leaves held on slow growing thick trunks.  A fabulous addition to any dry garden.

Musa basjoo.  Nothing quite beats those huge light green new leaves that shred with age and wind somehow adding to the authentic look of a banana plant in the tropics.

Musa lasiocarpa.  This smaller option reaches 120cm in height and produces bright yellow Lotus-like flowers.

Pseudopanax Mao’s Toes.  All the way from NZ the leathery dark green- purple leaves with orange veins are a fantastic foliage choice.

Albizia jul.  Summer Chocolate.  Exotic coloured foliage that seems to develop an even darker purple at this time of year.

Curl up with your holiday book and a glass of wine and re-enact your holiday chill time.
