Spring flowering bulbs herald the arrival of spring with some choices continuing into the summer. Buying some popular choices as bulbs now is a much more economical way of filling a space with flower for next year.
Most bulbs will be happy in sun to semi-shade with a few options preferring full sun. The best thing about bulbs is that the bees, butterflies and us humble humans love them. In pots, in lawns, in woodland, in mixed borders, in rockeries; there is a bulb for every place.
