No-one can underestimate the upsurge in home grown fruit and ‘Grow Your Own’ this year what with the lockdown and bare supermarket shelves. In the spring we had a huge demand for fruit trees as the exponential rise in allotments and garden spaces being given over to fruit including top fruit and soft fruit.
There were scrums earlier in the year when the stock just could not get here due to lockdown. Now, we have our fruit reserves coming in and again, more due soon.
A full range of Apples, Cherries and Pears will be arriving soon so keep an eye out on the website for regular updates.
We will have Apples ranging from bush, step-over, cordon and espalier on varying rootstocks. Cherry available in bush and fan-trained forms and Pears in bush and step- over forms. Ideal for growing in smaller spaces.
Our purchasing team are still sourcing soft fruit for our reserves. Watch this space….
