  • Excellent autumn foliage colour
  • Interesting spring foliage colour
  • Winter interest when the tiny spidery flowers appear on bare branches. 
  • Keep their architectural form with no pruning required
  • Tolerant of many soils (although the best autumn colour is achieved in acidic soils
  • Interesting bark that exfoliates to reveal cream, green and yellow patches. 
  • Can even be grown in large containers 
  • Extremely cold tolerant.  In fact - hard as nails.

Plant in humus rich soil in a sunny position to partial shade.

Cherry Tips A small tree with a slender habit. New leaves emerge red with a fantastic red-orange autumn colour. Height 3-5m

Persian Spire   Columnar form with a narrow upright habit.  Purple foliage in spring turning dark green with a purple edge in summer. Yellow, orange and red autumn colour. Ideal for the smaller garden. Height to 3m
