This week is National Tree Week and we intend to celebrate in style and casting a spotlight on some of the trees we have in stock and you may not have seen, noticed or even knew.
We all know the importance of a tree in design and the part trees play in attracting wildlife, providing shelter, shade and food.
This week we will focus on some trees that you are familiar with, some less so and some that just come from left of centre but are deserving of a place in the spotlight.
On our website you will find Tree Factsheets that cover all things trees! The factsheets include; Tree selection, seasonal availability, tree forms, shapes and sizes, site preparation for tree planting, correct tree planting procedures, advice sheets on Mychorrizal Fungi, staking a tree, irrigation guides and aftercare. Some of the sheets can be used as training aids for new team members.
We are asked questions on a daily basis as suppliers of trees: what trees are good for a small garden, screening, excellent autumn colour, providing berry for wildlife etc. These topics are also covered in the Tree Factsheets. The lists are useful for giving to your clients to help select the right tree for the right place and take the mystery out of trees in general.
