Rhododendron Bloombux are a great alternative to traditional small hedging options available. Loads of pink scented flowers are produced in profusion in June.
All Bloombux Rhododendron are on an Inkarho rootstock. Inkarho rootstock are tolerant of being grown in any soil so the soil does not need to be acidic/ ericaceous as is the case with Rhododendrons normally.
Bred in Germany and introduced to the market in 2014 these are a fabulous alternative to Buxus plants where Buxus Caterpillar Moth and blight can be an issue.
The plants can be lightly trimmed after flowering to keep in a formal shape and will reach an eventual height of 75cm. Strong evergreen foliage and flowers that are attractive to bees and butterflies. Rhododendron Bloombux really does have it all going on!
