Disporum cantoniense Moonlight has the equally delightful name of Chinese Fairy Bells.
A new cultivar of a rhizomatous perennial that is happy in shade. An excellent problem-solving plant as well as being rather pretty to look at too.
Arching stems of silver-white and green variegated splashed leaves offset the clusters of off-white bell-shaped flowers that appear all along the stems in spring and last into the summer.
The foliage takes on purple-pink hue in the autumn. A lovely choice for under trees and woodland settings.
